A GOD WHO IS FATHER: LOVING AND RESPECTING HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS
A God who is Father: Loving and Respecting His Sons and Daughters
We grew up believing in a God who rejects His own creation, accepting only a "chosen people," demanding worship and obedience through threats of terrible punishment and cruel death.
Unfortunately, instead of bringing peace to Earth, this concept brought prejudice, hatred, intolerance, and violence. Evil and destruction have dominated the planet, led by creatures who believe they are superior to the Divine Work. Many have fallen into the low self-esteem of "sinners," feeling unworthy of the love of a God who seems to demand adoration rather than seeking to be loved. Others simply stopped believing, thinking that if such a God existed, there wouldn't be so much evil.
The fact is: God exists. But He is the God of the Universe, not the God of just one people.
God is self-existent and self-sufficient. He is complete within Himself and has no needs. He does not need to be worshiped or obeyed; He knows who He is and is secure in Himself. He does not require a special nation, religions, prophets, or leaders. He is the Supreme Lord of the Universe.
Up to this point, we speak of the "concept of God"—a human term. But in the mind of the Most High, His goal is not to be "God" (a human construct); His goal is to be what He has always been: Father.
The Father is the Origin of All Things and the Source of All Life. He is the Father of humans, animals, and plants. He is Pati (Sanskrit), Abba (the Aramaic used by Lord Jesus); He is our Papai, our dear Father.
Pati is pure and innocent. He is the Eternal Supreme Good. He is infinite compassion; He is the Benevolent One. Pati is humility itself. He is essentially Love.
Pati is indeed just. He generated the system where each person reaps what they sow, and He does not interfere in the planting or the harvest. He demands nothing; He appreciates being loved spontaneously, never by imposition.
To those who seek Him and love Him, He teaches, guides, and educates—always respecting the limitations of His children, never forcing human or spiritual maturity. He respects the physical, mental, spiritual, cultural, and social conditions of every living being. To those who do not seek Him, He simply waits until they decide to do so, for Pati never forces one of His little ones.
Pati respects individuality. He understands that each person faces different psychological conditions and possesses their own limitations and skills. He knows that many can barely read or comprehend the life around them, and that none of us can be perfect through our own effort alone.
A true Father does not demand from a child with learning difficulties the same as He demands from a gifted child. He does not demand the life experience of an elder from a small child. He does not demand the same from a traumatized child as He does from one who has never faced trauma.
The Father is not an irrational God; He is not ignorant of the fragility of beings who do not even know if they will be alive a few hours from now. Spirituality is not collective. We are not labeled products on a cosmic shelf. The Father relates individually to each being, not through organizations.
This is the "All-Love" that Saiva Siddhanta speaks of—the sweetness and care of our Father. Yes, this is Shiva, the Benevolent. The destroyer of ignorance and fear. The one who brings humility, compassion, and peace. He is the one who walks barefoot among all His creatures and through the magnificent work generated by the energy of His own Being.
He reveals Himself face-to-face to the sons and daughters who choose to reflect His virtues. Those who let go of selfishness and separatism, desiring in their hearts to be as pure, innocent, and sweet as their Father.
The Shiva we refer to is the Pati of the Tamil people’s Saiva Siddhanta; He is not the "Shiva" of the Hindu Trinity.

Our journey is the result of decades of academic study in theology and philosophy. We wish to help people understand that God is pure, innocent, and truly loves all forms of life. God is Love itself (Anbe Sivam). It is impossible for the Father to cause suffering to any living being. He is the Eternal Supreme Good.
Anbe Sivam (God is LOVE).
